RITA ROSEN POLEY graduated from Temple University's Tyler School of Art in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in art education. She continued her studies at Tyler, completing her master's in 1974. She focused on painting throughout her college years, and has expanded to multimedia in her latest body of work.

In the last two years, she has rekindled her affinity for creating art into a full-time occupation. Her recent concentration reflects the large, graphite drawings from her years at Tyler while showcasing new techniques and color.
